There's a post in the works about baby sign, soon to be complete with videos of yours truly. But since I have a bunch of dinosaur temp tattoos on my neck, I think I'll wait. (Don't wanna scare the mommies!) Till then, anyone interested in sign (baby or not) can get started fingerspelling. Knowing how to spell words is the first step to learning signs because often you have to spell out words to learn new signs in conversation. So, enjoy!

Does it matter which hand I use? And what if I don't have five fingers?
In sign language you pick a dominant hand. Usually the hand you write with. It helps you do certain signs correctly and keeps the conversation clear.
I'm not sure what people who don't have all 5 fingers do.
